REP. JARAD KLEIN ENDORSES MILLER-MEEKS FOR CONGRESS: ‘SHE’LL BRING A NO-NONSENSE APPROACH TO WASHINGTON’

OTTUMWA – Today, Iowa Republican Rep. Jarad Klein announced his endorsement of Mariannette Miller-Meeks for Congress in the 2nd District.

“Washington, D.C. is filled with politicians that care more about winning the next election than doing their job,” said Rep. Klein of Keota. “I’ve known Mariannette for over a decade and I’ve seen her work up close in the Iowa Senate. I know she’ll bring a ‘no-nonsense’ approach to Washington, D.C. and work with President Trump to fight corruption. We need Mariannette in Congress and that’s why I am proud to support her campaign.”

“I am honored to receive the endorsement of Rep. Jarad Klein,” said Miller-Meeks. “Jarad has been a tireless advocate for rural Iowans in the legislature and he has never quit fighting for them. I’ll make sure small town Iowans are heard loud and clear in Congress. I’ll work with President Trump to fight corruption, make our trade deals fair and grow our rural economy.”

Rep. Klein was elected to office in 2011 and has served in leadership positions since 2014. During the 2019 legislative session, Miller-Meeks and Klein worked to reform the appointment of Iowa Supreme Court justices and ensured Iowans’ taxpayer money was responsibly managed by passing a balanced budget. Klein farms with his family in Washington County.
